This amazing 2 Oz coin, struck of pure 999 fine silver, minted with an ultra-high relief technic by the Mint of Poland and enhanced with an antique patina finish, is the first issue in this new Roman Gods series. This first coin features on the reverse an outstanding and powerful image of Jupiter, god of light and thunder, and protector of the state and its laws, with all the symbols of its deity, and with the legend “JUPITER” on the bottom. The obverse carries the Ian Rank Broadley effigy of her majesty Queen Elizabeth II, over a geometrical representation of the inner view of the Pantheon’s Dome and with the main frontage of the Temple of Jupiter Capitolinus, the most important temple in Ancient Rome, on the bottom. The inscriptions with the series name “ROMAN GODS”, and the name of the ruler “ELIZABETH II”, the issuing country “NIUE”, the face value “2 DOLLARS”, and the year of issue “2016” are also displayed along the rim, together with the metal symbol and its pureness “AG 999”, and Mint of Poland’s mintmark. Each Coin is encapsulated and housed in a wooden presentation case, with a themed shipper and accompanied by a luxury Certificate of Authenticity confirming its specifications.
